Vincent Partners – Summer Loving 2.0 

Vincent Partners continues to grow and is very excited to share (and almost share) some news.  Keeping things on the DL until publicly announced is always a tough one.  Like when you know a girl that likes a boy but the girl isn’t sure the boy knows and doesn’t want you to tell the boy until the boy is ready to tell the girl…you know, the simple stuff. 

Anyway look for some great announcements over the summer including the launch of a cool, soon to be huge, web 2.0 property in the film space and a slew of new clients.  OK, maybe a handful…what is a slew anyway?

Maxim Bungalows 

What we can share is quite exciting!  We have officially announced the creation and Fall 2007 opening of the Maxim Bungalows - Dominican Republic www.maximbungalows.com

Vincent Partners was the inspiration behind what will become one of the most innovative resort concepts in the Caribbean.  VP has partnered the world’s largest men’s lifestyle magazine (over 13 million readers) with the world-class real estate and resort operator Elliott™, to create two 5-Star luxury resorts in the Dominican Republic. 

The first will open in October 2007 at Cofresi Beach on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic and the second in Juan Dolio on the south coast in February 2008. The resort will have all the bells and even a few whistles including a 54’ Yacht, private beach clubs, pools and cabanas and extra special VIP services to enjoy the pristine beaches and cultural adventure of the Dominican Republic.

Salem Baking Hits the Red Carpet

Great films weren't the only thing making their world premier at the 10th Anniversary Sonoma Valley Film Festival this Spring. Salem Baking Company unveiled its new line of gourmet cheese biscuits and cheese straws in a variety of flavors at the star-studded festival in the heart of Sonoma.

Sonoma Valley Film Festival's own Chris Sawyer, the only film festival sommelier in the country, paired the new, savory hors d'ouvres with specific wine varieties designed to enhance even more the delicious flavors. Pairings included Asiago Sun-dried Tomato Pesto Cheese Biscuits with classic Chianti, Parmesan Artichoke Garlic Biscuits with an acidic and complex Sauvignon
Blanc and 3 Chili Cheddar Straw with Cabernet Sauvignon, which will intensify the spice.

Vincent Partners will be working with Salem Baking to redesign their website, develop a new product catalogue and unveil a new cookbook in the Fall, so stay tuned for more great pairings and recipes!

 

Good Design

We love DESIGN 21: Social Design Network. Why? Because they promote design for the greater good, and we’re excited to help them do it.
 
A partnership between Felissimo and UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), DESIGN 21 brings together designers and socially conscious individuals to share their ideas and voices, ultimately utilizing the power of design to respond to social, humanitarian and environmental needs around the world, improving the way we inhabit our planet and the quality of life in all communities. This May, Design 21 hosted a special event and cocktail party in the stately Felissimo Townhouse in Manhattan, speaking about future initiatives, unveiling the next phase of their unique online community, introducing cutting-edge social design competitions and showing off the new Allumonde ring — a new must-have accessory that does a lot of good in the world!  2% of the proceeds from the sale of this sleek, statement ring goes to UNESCO to help create DREAM Centers that provide arts education in affected communities throughout the world, and 19% goes to the charity of the wearer's choice. Spotlight on Strategic Partner – I Openers 

From time to time Vincent Partners likes to give some props to the strategic partners of our firm that are really like family and are a part of our team. 

One partner in particular we have continued to work with time and time again and to whom we rely on for her in depth expertise in the print media world is Ilene Rapkin of I Openers.  

I Openers Holding Co., LLC aligns media properties with festivals and events, particularly in the entertainment, epicurean and arts arenas. I Openers also focuses on partnering environmental organizations with appropriate media partners. 

We have partnered with Ilene and I Openers on Best Life magazines sponsorship of The Vail Film Festival, Marketing and Sponsorship activity for the Sonoma Valley Film Festival and other relevant projects.  We look forward to continuing to partner with I-Openers on future projects.
