VP Marketing and Public relations units have had major client wins, celebs are ringing our metaphoric switchboard and clamoring to join us at DIFF, our many months of development work on the soon to launch "user participated" social network for the film space is about to pay off and the Maxim Bungalows project has turned out to be an amazing property. Thanks for your continued support!

Time is Ticking
The Dominican International Film Festival (DIFF for short) is creeping closer and closer as we speak, so if you have been meaning to get your submission in, now is the time to do it!  DIFF has extended the deadline by 15 days, but don’t wait! Your entries must be postmarked by September 16th, 2007. We are accepting submissions in the following categories: shorts, documentaries, features, and Latin American Features. To submit online, please

So what’s all the buzz about?

We are thrilled to share with you a couple of the talented actors that will be joining us at Sun Village Resort for the festival this year.

Manny Perez, most recently known for his role opposite Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony in El Cantante and who is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable Latino Actors in Hollywood will be present for the festival.

Another exciting guest this year is the talented and beautiful model-turned-actor Kate Nauta.  Kate is best known for her role as the bloodthirsty, lingerie clad vixen 'Lola' in the movie Transporter 2 where she had two of her songs featured on the soundtrack. Now, focusing her time and energy on her music, we are certain that it is only a matter of time before Kate’s songs reach every radio in every household from NYC to the Dominican Republic! Join us for the opening night party where Kate will be performing live!

Another exciting announcement is our new partnership with DIFF sponsor The Director’s Cut. Director’s Cut is the first mobile film and imaging studio dedicated to children.  Director’s Cut provides the opportunity for children between the ages of 5-17 to experiment with digital film and imaging software and hardware. What could be better than getting the chance as a child to make a work of your own?!

So book now! Gather the kiddies, pack your bags, and make plans to come share
in the experience of The Dominican International Film Festival-the best is yet to come!

Vincent Partners and Cablevision Give Mets Fans an Amazin’ Experience

As is usually the case when someone throws their first pitch from a Major League mound, Edward Williams of East Marion, NY had many family and friends in attendance. What was unusual about the event on August 21st is that Edward is a 79-year-old grandfather.

Edward was on the mound because he was the Grand Prize winner in the iO Digital Cable Amazin’ Day at Shea Sweepstakes. As a prize, he and 12 friends and family got to watch the Mets play the San Diego Padres from the SportsNet NY luxury suite while Edward threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Vincent Partners worked closely with Cablevision to create the concept for the sweepstakes, brand it, design all of the sweepstakes’ creative and aid in prize fulfillment. We hope we’re not boasting too much if we say that we did an Amazin’ job.

There was a second prize winner who won an HDTV and 125 third prize winners received a family 4-pack of tickets to the same game as Edward. Over 500 lucky fans got to watch one of the most exciting games of the year thanks to Cablevision, as the Mets made a dramatic 9th inning comeback to win the game.  Talk about positive brand association.
